AgentCue Is Now Free
Starting today, AgentCue is free. No trial, no one-time fee, no subscription. Grab a license, install the app, get back to work.
Here's the honest reason.
What we wanted to build
When we started AgentCue, we weren't planning to ship a menu bar utility and call it a day. The plan was to build the orchestration layer for AI agents, then keep evolving it into something larger. Multi-machine sessions, team coordination, the parts that only make sense once everyone's running it.
The landscape moved faster than we did.
Claude has kept shipping. Other vendors caught up. Open-source projects spun up around the same ideas we were sketching out. A lot of the bigger product we had in mind either got built by someone else or stopped being a clear opening.
What's left is a tool we're proud of, and one we think is genuinely useful, but it lives in a smaller niche than we set out for. A polished menu bar app for managing AI agents on macOS. That's a real thing. It's just not the thing we were charging $19 toward.
We don't need this to make money
That's the part most posts like this avoid saying, so we'll say it. AgentCue isn't how we pay rent. Our team has bigger projects we're focused on. AgentCue is something we care about and want to keep alive, but it doesn't need to be a business for us to keep shipping it.
Given where the product landed, charging for it stopped feeling justified. So we're not going to.
What you get
Everything. Same app, same features, same updates. The free license is the full product. There's no stripped tier and no paid version hiding behind it.
One license per device, grab as many as you need. All future updates included.
If you bought AgentCue at $19 in the last few weeks, thank you. We'll be in touch about a refund.
One small ask
When you grab your license, let us stay in touch. Not a marketing list. Just the occasional note about what we're working on, in AgentCue and in our team's other projects. If we ship something later that turns out to be useful to you, we'd like you to hear about it.
That's the trade. Free app, permission to email you sometimes.
Grab a license and let us know what you'd want us to build next.
